Interfaith prayer gatherings are an effective way of bringing interested parties from different spiritual experiences together as a means to derive their inspiration from one heavenly Source. These meetings are held on the first Sunday of each month. We would like to invite you to join us and bring your friends along. A special guest, each time, from a different background, would help with the program. "The third teaching of Baha'u'llah is that religion must be the source of fellowship, the cause of unity and the nearness of God to man. If it rouses hatred and strife it is evident that absence of religion is preferable and an irreligious man better than one who professes it." (Baha'i World Faith - p. 239) CHILDREN CLASSES One Baha'i children's class teacher related the following experiences: One little boy asked, "What would we learn in these classes?", I told him, "We'll learn about the wonderful gems inside us, qualities such as kindness and honesty, and how to polish these gems to make good decisions in our lives." He literally threw his arms in the air and yelled, "Yahoo!". One mother told me that for a while she would not let her children play with some of the others; Now she sees them all getting along. I told her it was all about developing their spiritual qualities. (related by Robert Penn.)
The Littleton Baha'i Community currently holds its Children's classes jointly with the Baha'is in Highlands Ranch. For details please visit the community page for Baha'is of Douglas County. |
